40mins from Old Mac in the town of Villiersdorp, the Moonlight Market takes place on the banks of the Theewaterskloof dam.
Locals have the opportunity of showcasing their wares and produce and the turnout is always phenomenal. The evening is very casual and a good time is had by all.
The market is outdoors so will only be held weather permitting.

Houw Hoek and surrounds
The Houw Hoek Tour is a non-competitive two-day mountain bike stage event that gives you the opportunity to cycle some of the Wines2Whales Race routes. The objective is to give newcomers the opportunity to enjoy a weekend of scenic, fun and non-competitive riding. However, you need to be fit, as each of the two stages are approximately 60km long and mostly gravel roads (including jeep and single tracks).

Oude Molen Distillery: Worcester Street - Elgin, Grabouw
Visit Oude Molen Distillery for an insightful tour of the distillery and see the three largest Copper pot stills in the Southern Hemisphere of Africa.
The tour starts off with a 15 minute audio visual relating the interesting story about the "Father of South African Brandy", Rene Santhagens and is narrated by the South Afican award winning actor, Marius Wyers. In this story we learn about the man Rene, and how he started the Oude Molen brand at the foothills of the Pappagaai Mountains in Stellenbosch.
After an informative walk through the distillery you are then led into the Maturation Cellar where you will watch a second audio visual with surround sound and other dramatic effects.
The tour lasts for about 1 hour and thereafter you will taste Oude Molens award winning Brandies.

The VOV- 14 Year Old has won Gold and "Best in it's Class" at the Wine and Spirits Competition in London, and the 100 Reserve or ( 8 Year Old) won Silver and " Best in it's Class" at the same Competition.
